popcorn and moviesGuys dig films. Chicks love flicks. So you date her in the movies because typically, the widescreen sets a more romantic mood for the two of you. But more often than not, guys and chicks do not like the same movie titles.

When you are out in the movies with a girl, chick flicks are her number one choice. You, on the other hand, cry out for car crashes and bomb explosions. To remedy this, here is a quick list of film titles and why she would like them as much as you would, or already did.

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the plot revolves around four London lads pool their cash into a high stake poker game. Things go mental and they end up owing half a million pounds with only a week to repay the hard man.

Since most chicks find the British accent hot and sexy, this movie is a definite ace. Plus, Jason Statham stars the flick to even brighten her day!

Taxi Driver. Directed by Martin Scorsese, this dark film depicts the life of a retired Vietnam war veteran who works as a taxi driver of New York City’s filthy streets.

Young Robert de Niro attempts to rescue the younger Jodie Foster from teenage prostitution. Young Robert de Niro – enough said to make her squeal with glee!

Oldboy. Directed by Park Chan Wook, this Korean film will definitely ravage her thoughts with its twisted plot and strange scenes. Choi Min Sik plays the role of a man who been recently imprisoned for fifteen long years. He eats nothing but fried dumpling.

After his release, he sets vengeance against his captor but he can only succeed within five short days. The protagonist falls in love with a younger female but it will be only later on that he is going to find about the truth about him, her, and his enemy. Your girl will definitely go gaga over the superb weirdness of this film!

True Romance. Directed by Tony Scott and written by Quentin Tarantino, here is a not-so-romantic junkie love story between Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette. She was a call-girl and he was Elvis’ alter ego.

They met, made love, and married the next day. Their relationship is spiced with pimps and guns and Sicilians and true romance. With its title alone, she will definitely consider watching this manly flick!

Fight Club. Directed by David Fincher and written by Chuck Palahniuk, this is a story about a corporate insomniac who dwells in a persona of someone who is hardly similar to him – his very own alter ego.

Starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, the plot coils and thickens as the narrator of the film meets Helena Bonham Carter, a cigarette-smoking tourist who messes up with the narrator’s destruction against corporate assholes and whatnot. She will definitely adore this film and its feisty and super goosebumps-inducing ending!

So worry no more if you are no film buff, this list will definitely make the both of you score and scream for more.
