Summer is finally here! Our energy levels are all boosted up, and what more fun way to beat the heat than to party to our heart’s content. Summer is known for wild and hot parties all over the world.

Here in the UK, we have lots of events, gatherings and festivals all year round, but here are 5 of the parties you should not miss this summer.

The Capital FM Summertime Ball

When: June 6, 4:00PM to 9:30PM

Where: Wembley Stadium, NW London

Price: Tickets are already sold out by April 24 but they are giving away free tickets. Visit their site to learn how you can win.

This is an annual party held by the radio station 95.8 Capital FM. Some of the artists on the lineup for this summer are Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Usher, Cheryl Cole, Chipmunk and many more. Besides having tons of fun, you will actually be helping children as well since a portion of the event’s ticket sales will be given to the radio station’s charity, Help a London Child.

Summer Break

When: June 6-10, June 13-17, June 20-24

Where: Newquay, Cornwall

Price: Camping £64, Caravan £94

“It’s the reason you became a student,” says the tagline of this giant event for party freaks. It is 4 days and 4 nights of nonstop partying for each of the first 3 weeks of June.

University students should feel delighted that after several months of studying hard, they can now mingle with thousands others who are as eager to rock it out from dusk till dawn. The best DJs and performers, the crazy beach games, and the energetic vibe will make sure everyone parties hard all night long.

Croissant Neuf Summer Party

When: August 14-16

Where: Usk, Monmouthshire

Price: £80 for adults, £25 for kids, with family and student discounts

This is the party that is a winner for every member of the family. If there is one party you want to bring your family this summer, this is it. They have activities for kids, friends and the whole family such as theater, comedy, dance, games, treasure hunt and a concert featuring such artists as The Beat, The Baghdaddies, Steve Knightley, Ella Edmonson, The Travelling Band and many more.

If anyone must know, Croissant Neuf Summer Party has won awards for its sustainability and has been nominated in other categories in the UK festival for being family- and eco-friendly.

Glastonbury Festival

When: June 23 – June 27

Where: Worthy Farm, Pilton

Price: £185 standard ticket price

This music and performing arts festival is one of the biggest in the world.  Celebrated annually, it started in September 19, 1970, a day after the death of guitar legend Jimi Hendrix.

Partying here can get wild especially with lots of musicians performing, but the 1,100 acre farm is subdivided into different fields to accommodate family-friendly areas such as Kidz Field, The Park and the Circus, where other activities such as theater, performing arts and kiddy activities.

FIFA World Cup Series Parties

This summer party list is not complete without the FIFA World Cup parties. For those who cannot afford or just do not have the luxury of time to go to the game venues, watching the game through a giant screen in a high-class venue with excellent food and drinks is the next best thing.

Many organizers are holding parties all over London, some during England’s matches only while some on other dates as well. Some of the parties require a certain number of people per booking so this is a great opportunity to ask your buddies to come as well. You can check here to see which of the venues is closest to your area.

Tickets to some of these events tend to be sold out pretty quickly so you have to purchase one as soon as possible. If you failed to get one on time, wait for others who resell their tickets but be careful as some of them may scam you. Other than that, brace yourself for one wild and crazy summer. Party on!
