Faking Waves

One could easily imagine that with advanced innovations in modern day technology, someone would have already invented a more decent fake wave maker. However, the closest anyone has yet come to doing it is an upright wave treadmill and knee height rollers. Shooting a slim water sheet up a marginal slope is hardly a credible achievement.

Now, a world famous surfer and an Australian board shaper, both working separately, claim being ready to break ground with almost identical water pools that will be capable of faking waves up to head height.
