Clean Your Apartment Already
Having a clean living area is a huge pet peeve of mine, if my room is messy I do not do anything else until it is cleaned and organized. That is just me and maybe a sliver of OCD, however that doesn’t leave you out of this.
Whether you live on your own, with your girlfriend, wife, what-have-you, in an apartment, dorm room, at home with your parents, or in your own house. Keep it clean.
There is nothing more unattractive to a woman than a man that is slob. It isn’t enjoyable for anyone to clean up after someone else. When your girlfriend comes over to visit and you have 3 pizza boxes, a 24 pack, and other random gross stuff laying around, she will be immediately turned off.
Hygiene
Most guys do not think hygiene is important or necessary for them, but it is. Keeping a clean living area is so important for your health and safety.
Letting dust pile up on your TV and coffee table will allow allergens to pile on top of them and in them and could give you allergies or make you sick.
Wiping down your counters at night with dish soap and a new dish rag (that can go into the laundry when done) and making sure your sink, oven, microwave and refridgerator are all clean is essential to your safety in the kitchen as well.
Bad things like E-Coli can live on surfaces that have touched raw meat and just unsanitary practices can lead to sickness. It isn’t worth it, keeping the dishwasher full and your sink empty is another thing to do. Oh, and when the dishwasher is full, run it, then empty it.
If you have a pet, hygiene is both important for you and them. Make sure your cat’s litter box is emptied every 2-3 days and throw out to the road (don’t leave it sitting in your garbage). No one likes a stinky garbage or overflowing garbage can, so take it out right away when it is full.
